Historic property with tower from the 12th century, at the gates of Siena

Historic property with tower complex dating back to the 12th century, as a former lookout tower that secured Siena to the south. This property in need of renovation is situated in a hilly position, only about 14 km from Siena. The property consists of the main house with tum and two outbuildings, a former barn and a former stable. The main house with its 4 floors has a living area of about 736 m², the two outbuildings have a usable area of about 95 m² and about 57 m². At the main house there is an additional small portico with approx. 19 m². The building structure is very charming due to its authenticity down to the ground level cellar areas and lends itself to conversion into living areas. The adjoining inner courtyard can be wonderfully integrated into a modern living concept. The two outbuildings were added in the 18th century and round off the ensemble. All buildings are largely built of natural stone and newer parts of brick. The ceilings are typical for the country with antique exposed beams. Most of the floors have the typical cotto tiles.

In 2019, the roof of the tower was completely restored and the beams and roofing were completely renewed. Likewise, new copper rain pipes were installed and part of the tower's facade was restored. On the other roofs, the tiles were inspected and some replaced to safeguard the existing roofing. The chimney was restored so that the fireplaces can be put into operation at any time.
Soon the windows will also be replaced.
The location of this property is on the one hand very well connected and on the other hand very sheltered, as it is situated in a cul-de-sac end location. On the way to the property there is a small hamlet with some flats, which are permanently inhabited by Italians.
