Originally a Renaissance chateau from the middle of the 14th century, later the building was enlarged and transformed into a Baroque chateau, then it was rebuilt several times. The building is made of brick and stone, plastered, consists of two wings, built on the plan of the letter "L", three-storeyed, with hipped roofs covered with dormers. Above the south wing there is a square tower.
The castle is surrounded by a landscaped park from the middle of the 19th century.
