Latvian manor in Vaidava, formerly Gutshof Welkenhof. The village is located about 100 km from the Latvian capital Riga and is idyllically situated on the eponymous Vaidava Lake. From the 1950s it was used as a school and received a purpose-built extension. Even today there is a boarding school.
